The 9^th to 14^th April 2007 saw the first International String Orchestra Festival taking place in Malta. The festival had participants from Australia, Bulgaria, France, Germany, Japan, Kazakhstan, Korea, Latvia, Malta, Portugal, Russia, South Africa, Sweden, and the UK.
